Description
This Category 6a U/FTP cable is designed for high-speed data installations where reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance is required. It is typically used in structured cabling systems within commercial buildings, public sector projects, and other environments where enhanced fire performance is specified.
The cable features individually foil-screened pairs (U/FTP), which helps minimise near-end crosstalk (NEXT) and alien crosstalk. This makes it suitable for high-density installations and applications operating up to 500 MHz, including 10GBase-T.
The B2ca-s1a,d0,a1 fire-rated LSZH sheath meets CPR requirements, making it suitable for use in public buildings and high-risk areas where low smoke and zero halogen emissions are essential. It also complies with BS6701:2016+A1:2017 for installation cables.
Compatible with standard Cat6a RJ45 connectivity and patch panels, this cable is suitable for permanent link installations where compliance, fire safety, and consistent performance are required.
