Description
This shielded Cat5e cable from Excel meets the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) Dca standard, making it suitable to be installed in buildings with moderate fire safety requirements.
It is manufactured and tested to ISO 11801 and TIA Category 6 standards, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including gigabit ethernet networking.
Each cable is comprised of eight colour-coded 24AWG polyethylene insulated conductors, twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths. The pairs are wrapped in an aluminium mylar tape screen with a solid 24 AWG drain wire and jacketed in a heat resistant low smoke zero halogen material.
The cable is supplied in a 305m fast feed box with sequential metre markings for easy installation.
