Description
This OM4 multimode fibre optic patch lead is fitted with a CPR-rated Cca-s1a,d1,a1 Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer sheath, making it suitable for fixed network installations where enhanced fire performance is required. Unlike standard LSZH fibre patch leads, the Cca-rated construction offers improved reaction to fire, helping meet the requirements of BS 6701 and CPR-compliant structured cabling projects.
Manufactured using 50/125µm OM4 multimode fibre, this patch lead is designed for high-speed Ethernet networks in commercial buildings, data centres, communications rooms and campus environments. It is optimised for 850nm VCSEL laser applications and supports 1Gb, 10Gb, 40Gb and 100Gb Ethernet over the distances specified for OM4 multimode fibre.
Low insertion loss connectors help maintain reliable optical performance, while aramid strength members improve durability during installation and handling.
