Description
Enbeam OS2 singlemode FTTx drop cable is a 9/125 tight-buffered fibre cable designed for indoor FTTx, FTTH and PON installations. Its compact 3mm diameter and bend-insensitive OS2 fibre make it suitable for routing through confined spaces, risers, trunking and behind-wall installations where standard fibre cable may be difficult to manage.
The tight-buffered construction provides added durability during handling and termination, making it suitable for internal building distribution and customer connection points. The white LSZH outer sheath is compliant with CPR Cca requirements, helping meet fire safety standards in commercial and residential installations.
Typical applications include fibre broadband connections, internal FTTx distribution, ONT connections and low-space fibre routing within offices, flats and multi-dwelling units.
This cable is compatible with standard OS2 singlemode fibre hardware and termination equipment used in FTTx and PON networks. The LSZH sheath also makes it suitable for indoor installations where low smoke and reduced toxic emissions are required under current building regulations.
