Description
This OM4 multimode fibre optic patch lead is designed for high-speed network connections where improved fire performance is required. Unlike standard patch leads, it features a CPR-rated Cca-s1a,d0,a1 Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer sheath, making it suitable for installations that require enhanced compliance with modern building fire safety standards.
It is typically used to connect fibre optic patch panels, network switches, servers and active equipment within enterprise networks, data centres, education, healthcare and commercial buildings. The duplex OM4 multimode fibre supports high-bandwidth applications while remaining fully compatible with standard LC multimode fibre infrastructure.
The cable is constructed with aramid strength members for durability and offers a crush resistance of 1000N/100mm with a tensile strength of 120N, helping it withstand normal installation and maintenance. It operates reliably in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.
