Description
This OM4 multimode LC to SC duplex fibre optic patch lead is designed for high-speed optical network connections in structured cabling systems, data centres, enterprise networks and telecommunications installations. It uses 50/125µm OM4 multimode fibre with LC and SC connectors, making it suitable for connecting active network equipment, fibre patch panels and optical distribution frames.
The cable features an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer sheath, helping to minimise smoke and corrosive gas emissions in the event of a fire, making it suitable for use in commercial buildings and other indoor installations where fire performance is important.
Optimised for use with 850nm VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) technology, this OM4 fibre patch lead supports high-bandwidth applications including Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 40 Gigabit Ethernet and 100 Gigabit Ethernet over the distances defined by the OM4 standard.
Each assembly is individually tested before dispatch to verify optical performance and connector quality, helping to ensure reliable installation and consistent network performance.
