This Cat5e U/UTP PVC Ethernet cable is manufactured and tested to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 11801 standard, European Standard EN 50173 and ANSI/TIA‐568‐C standards for enhanced performance Cat5e LAN network cables. The cable can be applied to typical applications such as 10Base-T Ethernet, 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet, 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet, 155 Mbps ATM, 622 Mbps ATM and Token Ring Networks.
Each Category 5e U/UTP PVC network cable comprises 8 colour coded polyethylene insulated conductors. These are twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths. These pairs, together with a strong nylon rip cord are jacketed in a heat resistant PVC material.
The printing detail on the sheath includes the cables part number, specification details and a unique 305‐0 metre marking within each box supplied, allowing for quick and easy measurement of ethernet cable installed and the amount remaining within the box.
