Description
This 24AWG 2 pair screened cable (Belden 9502 equivalent) is designed for low voltage signal, control and instrumentation wiring where consistent performance and protection from electrical interference are required.
It is typically used in building management systems (BMS), control panels, audio and signal circuits, and general data transmission within commercial and industrial installations. The overall foil screen with drain wire helps reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), making it suitable for use alongside power cabling or in electrically noisy environments.
The cable uses stranded tinned copper conductors, allowing easier routing and termination compared to solid core, particularly within panels, trunking and containment. A PVC insulated core supports stable electrical characteristics, while the LSZH outer sheath is rated to CPR Euroclass Eca, making it suitable for use in buildings where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required.
