Description
The Enbeam OS2 micro blown fibre cable is a singlemode 9/125 loose tube cable designed for installation into micro-duct systems using air-blown fibre equipment. It is typically used in FTTH, access networks, campus backbones and high-density fibre infrastructure where high core counts are required within limited duct space.
This OS2 G.657.A1 fibre cable is constructed with gel-filled PBT loose tubes around an FRP central strength member, with water blocking yarn and a black HDPE outer sheath for external duct installations. The compact 7.6 mm outer diameter allows installation into micro-ducts with internal diameters from 10 mm upwards, depending on core count and duct configuration.
The cable is intended for blown fibre systems only and should not be manually pulled into ducts.
Optical performance supports long-distance singlemode transmission with attenuation values of ≤0.38 dB/km at 1310 nm and ≤0.26 dB/km at 1550 nm, making the cable suitable for high-speed fibre network deployments requiring low signal loss and reliable long-term performance.
