Description

This Draka OS2 singlemode fibre cable is a tight buffered internal/external cable designed for structured cabling backbones and interconnections. It is typically used for LAN and WAN links, data centre backbones and central office connections where a robust, easy-to-handle fibre is required.

The cable uses ES9 tight buffered technology with 900µm fibres, allowing for straightforward stripping, routing and termination compared to loose tube designs. It is suitable for installation in trays, ducts and building pathways, offering flexibility across both internal and external runs.

The black FireBur® LSZH sheath is UV stabilised and resistant to moisture, making it suitable for indoor containment and outdoor duct applications. CPR Class Eca compliance ensures it meets basic fire performance requirements for standard building installations.

This cable is suited to installers requiring a compliant, tight-buffered OS2 solution for backbone infrastructure with consistent handling characteristics across a range of installation environments.
