Description

Draka OM4 Multi-Mode Fibre Cable is a tight buffered fibre optic cable designed for internal and external installations including LAN and WAN backbones, data centre infrastructure, building interconnections and central office applications.

The cable uses Draka’s ES9 tight buffer construction with up to 24 tightly buffered 900µm fibres, providing improved handling and termination performance for structured fibre installations. Its universal construction allows installation in ducts, trays and containment systems, making it suitable for both backbone and horizontal cabling applications.

The FireRes® LSZH sheath is UV stabilised and moisture resistant, supporting use in indoor and outdoor environments where low smoke zero halogen cable is required. The cable is CPR Eca compliant.

The cable is designed to withstand demanding installation conditions, with crush resistance up to 2000N/100mm and operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. Minimum bend radius and tensile performance vary depending on fibre count.

Compatible with standard OM4 fibre optic hardware, patch panels, splice enclosures and fibre termination systems. Suitable for high-speed multi-mode applications including 10GbE, 40GbE and 100GbE network infrastructure.
