Description
Draka OM3 Loose Tube Fibre Optic Cable is a 50/125µm multimode fibre cable designed for internal and external network installations. Suitable for LAN and WAN backbones, telecom access networks, fibre-to-the-business (FTTB) and fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) connections, it provides a versatile solution for structured fibre optic infrastructure.
The cable features a gel-filled loose tube containing between 2 and 24 optical fibres, protected by water-blocked E-glass strength members and a UV-stabilised FireBur® LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer sheath. Its lightweight construction makes it suitable for installation in ducts, cable trays and other protected routing systems where armouring is not required.
The water-blocked design helps prevent moisture ingress, while the FireBur® sheath meets CPR Euroclass Eca requirements and provides UV resistance for external installations. Manufactured to recognised international standards, the cable is compatible with standard OM3 multimode fibre connectivity and structured cabling systems.
