Description
This Connectix tight buffered OS2 singlemode fibre cable is designed for internal and external fixed installations where a durable, CPR-compliant backbone is required. It is suitable for LAN and WAN links, building backbones and data centre tray routes.
The cable uses ITU-T G.652.D compliant singlemode fibre, supporting standard OS2 applications including long-distance transmission at 1310nm and 1550nm. The tight buffered construction (0.9mm) allows for easier handling, termination and routing compared to loose tube alternatives, particularly within buildings.
The LSZH outer jacket is UV stabilised and resistant to moisture, making it suitable for both indoor containment and outdoor exposure. CPR rated to Cca-s1a,d0,a1, it meets current UK and EU fire performance requirements for public buildings and high-occupancy environments.
