Description
Connectix OM4 loose tube fibre optic cable is designed for internal and external fibre network installations where fusion splicing is the preferred termination method. The cable is commonly used for campus networks, building-to-building links, external ducts and backbone applications requiring a lightweight, robust multimode fibre solution.
The cable features a central uni-tube construction containing individually colour-coded 250µm fibres. The loose tube is protected by E-Glass roving strength members and enclosed within a black FRNC/LSZH outer sheath, providing mechanical protection while meeting fire performance requirements for commercial and public buildings.
Suitable for OM4 multimode applications, the cable supports high-bandwidth network infrastructure and is compatible with standard OM4 fibre optic hardware, splice closures, patch panels and pigtails.
This cable provides a practical solution for multimode fibre installations where low smoke, halogen-free construction and reliable outdoor performance are required.
