Description
This 22AWG 2 pair individually screened cable is a Belden 8723 equivalent, designed for low voltage signal, control and instrumentation applications. Each pair is foil screened with a drain wire, providing improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared to overall screened alternatives.
It is typically used in external or exposed installations, including building control systems, equipment interconnections and signal wiring where UV resistance is required. The black PE outer sheath is stabilised to ISO 4892-3 for UV exposure and rated to Euroclass Fca, making it suitable for outdoor use or areas where LSZH is not specified.
The HDPE insulated conductors and individually screened pairs help maintain signal integrity, particularly in environments with electrical noise or where multiple signals are carried within the same cable.
