Description
This 8 core external alarm cable is designed for fixed wiring of low voltage fire, security and control systems where the cable is installed outdoors or within ducting. It uses stranded tinned copper conductors for flexibility and improved resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for long-term external use.
Typically used for external runs between buildings, intruder alarm systems, access control, intercoms and general signal wiring. The 8 core configuration supports multi-zone connections or combined signal and power circuits within a single cable. Suitable for clipped direct installation or routing through ducts in commercial, residential and site environments.
The UV resistant PE outer sheath provides protection against sunlight exposure and environmental conditions, helping maintain performance over time.
Compatible with standard UK fire and security system terminals. Suitable for low voltage applications where an unscreened external alarm cable is specified.
