Description
This 6 core external alarm cable is designed for low voltage fire, security and control systems where the cable is installed outdoors or within ducting. It uses stranded tinned copper conductors for flexibility and corrosion resistance, combined with a UV resistant PE outer sheath for long-term exposure to external conditions.
Typically used for external runs between buildings, access control systems, intercoms, CCTV signalling and intruder alarms. The screened construction with aluminium foil and drain wire helps reduce interference where the cable is installed near power cables or other sources of electrical noise.
Suitable for surface runs, clipped direct, or installation in ducts in commercial, residential and site environments.
Compatible with standard UK alarm and control equipment. Suitable for low voltage applications where a screened external alarm cable is required.
