Description
This 24AWG 6 pair screened cable (Belden 9506 equivalent) is designed for low voltage signal, control and instrumentation wiring where multiple circuits need to be carried within a single cable and protected from electrical interference.
It is typically used in building management systems (BMS), control panels, plant rooms, audio systems and general data or signal distribution in commercial and industrial installations. The overall aluminium foil screen with drain wire helps reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), making it suitable for routing alongside power cables or in electrically noisy environments.
The cable is constructed with stranded tinned copper conductors (8/0.19), providing flexibility for installation and easier termination compared to solid core. PVC insulation maintains stable electrical characteristics, while the LSZH outer sheath is rated to CPR Euroclass Eca, supporting use in buildings where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required.
With 6 pairs in a single sheath, this cable is suited to installations where multiple signals or control circuits are required without running separate cables.
