This 41S fusion splicer kit from Fujikura consists of the fusion splicer itself, which is used to splice multiple lengths of fibre optic cable, a carrying case and a detachable work tray.
The splicer features active blade management technology:
- Automatic blade rotation via wireless connectivity allows the splicer to rotate the cleaver blade when it judges it to be worn.
- Blade life management informs the user of the remaining blade life and required blade height changes.
The 41S also features:
- Easy sleeve positioning
- Core loss estimation
- Easy maintenance of cleaver with replaceable blades
