This OM3 steel wire (SWA) armoured loose tube fibre cable from Excel is designed for use in direct burial applications.
The cable is constructed from single loose tube cables, packed into a fibreglass water blocking strength member. An internal sheath is then applied, with a ripcord underneath for easy cable stripping. Steel wire armouring is then applied and an over sheath is added.
