Description
This 24AWG 10 core cable is a Belden 9540 equivalent, designed for low voltage control, signal and instrumentation applications. It uses stranded tinned copper conductors with an overall foil screen, providing reliable signal transmission in environments where electrical interference may be present.
Typically used in building management systems, control panels, and audio or data signal wiring, this type of multicore screened cable is suited to fixed internal installations where multiple signals need to be carried within a single sheath. The LSZH outer jacket is rated to Euroclass Eca, making it suitable for installations in public or commercial buildings where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required.
The overall aluminium foil screen with a 24AWG drain wire helps reduce EMI and maintain signal integrity, particularly where cables are installed alongside power circuits or equipment.
