Description
This 24AWG 8 core screened cable is manufactured as an equivalent to Belden 9538 and is designed for low-voltage signal, control and instrumentation wiring where protection from electrical interference is required. The cable uses stranded tinned copper conductors and an overall aluminium foil screen with drain wire, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments where electromagnetic noise may be present.
The construction is suitable for internal building installations, including control panels, building management systems (BMS), audio and signal circuits, and data transmission within equipment racks or containment systems. Stranded conductors provide improved flexibility, making the cable easier to route and terminate during installation.
The cable is finished with an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer sheath rated to CPR Euroclass Eca, supporting use in buildings where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required in the event of fire.
