Description
This 24AWG 4 pair screened cable is manufactured as an equivalent to Belden 9504 and is commonly used for low voltage signal, control and instrumentation wiring. The cable features stranded tinned copper conductors and an overall aluminium foil screen with drain wire, helping to reduce electromagnetic interference in installations where signal stability is important.
The cable construction is suited to internal building installations, including control panels, building management systems (BMS), audio signalling, telemetry and data communication circuits. The stranded conductors allow easier routing and termination compared with solid core cable, particularly within containment, panels and equipment racks.
An LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer sheath with CPR Euroclass Eca rating makes the cable suitable for use in buildings where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required in the event of fire.
