Description
This Category 6 outlet from Connectix is designed to prevent accidental or malicious removal of patch leads - one of the leading causes of network failure. This is an extremely useful products to install in places such as schools or hospitals.
The outlet is simple to install. Once the base plate is attached, the PCB is simply snapped in and the pairs are then terminated with a punchdown tool. Then, once the patch leads have been plugged into the four RJ45 sockets, the front cover can be installed.
The product is designed for direct wall mounting and the position of the sockets means there are no horizontally protruding leads.
